Return & Refund Policy

Quest For Fire LLC (DBA: El Porto Salt Co. & 395 Chili Co.) offers a 15-day return policy. You have 15 days from the date of delivery/item is received to request a return.


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and unopened

  • In its original packaging

  • With all safety seals intact
    (This includes the shrink sleeve, brand logo sticker, and inner lid liner, if applicable)

  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

⚠️ For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on any opened food products, including hot sauces, dry rubs, salts, or marinades.

If any safety seals are broken or the product is opened, the return will be denied and the customer will be responsible for shipping costs.


📦 Incorrect or Damaged Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at info@questforfire.com. We’ll make it right by:

  • Sending you the correct item

  • Providing a prepaid return shipping label

  • Giving you return instructions

All returns must be sent back in the original box and packaging, when possible.


📧 How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at info@questforfire.com within 15 days of receiving your order.

  2. Wait for return approval and shipping instructions.

  3. Once approved, we’ll send you a return label (if applicable) and instructions on where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without prior approval will not be accepted.


🔄 Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange a product, the fastest way is to initiate a return and, once it's accepted, place a new order for the desired item.


🚫 Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on the following:

  • Opened or unsealed food items

  • Perishable goods (hot sauces, salts, dry rubs and marinades, etc.)

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Beauty or personal care items

  • Flammable or hazardous materials

  • Gift cards

  • Sale or clearance items

If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before attempting a return.


💵 Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you whether the refund has been approved.

  • If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method

  • Please allow time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund

Please note:
If a return is due to a customer's request (e.g. change of mind or ordering the wrong item), original shipping charges are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

If we receive the returned item damaged, broken, or in unsellable condition, the refund will be cancelled, and the customer will need to file a claim with their shipping carrier for reimbursement.
